It’s not you Dad, it’s your Generation

It’s not you, Dad,
It’s your generation
All the opportunities are gone now
That land dried up don’t you know?
Now I’m off to war to protect Wall Streets interests
Off to kill women and children so I can pay my bills
If I’m lucky I’ll be blown apart before I’m home
With little bits of brain that you can bury
And not some ghost in shell being
You confused for your child
I’ve decided.
I don’t want any of it any more.
Nothing, no one.
I’m not sure I want to live
It’s too expensive these days
I’d just like to be of some use
To somebody
Before I die.
Better make it quick.
I’m off-
Goodbye.
